Measuring 27′-9″, the 281 is ready for blue water with plenty of freeboard along with dozens of standard features for fishing, friends, and family alike. In the bow, there’s a large lounge area with removable cushions and seat backs with insulated storage below for gear and more gear. We added in a removable dinette table which turns the forward lounge into a sea-side meeting space or sun deck. Also included is a large, in-console head with sink and counter top, glass-style console face, multi-function simrad, padded footrest, lower console storage and more. From the helm and unique to the 281, we’ve added plush, heavy-duty, two-stage, captain’s chairs which can be used as a leaning post or traditional seat. Next there’s a side door along with a rear-of-console rigging and bait tackle center, a large live-well and ample aft seating.
